Howe School Annual 1915

The 1915 Howe Quarterly sample is the Alumni Number, with a photo and obituary of Howe School’s first Rector, The Rev. Charles Nelson Spaulding. The first print description of the just-completed Mothers’ Chapel lists the first honorees named on the bronze tablets on the south wall. The stairway to the Crypt addition and the Calvary group over the west door to the Mothers’ Chapel are shown. The Alumni Roster includes updated post-Howe biographies of most alums with class group pictures. The detailed bios and class photos continued at least through the 1954 edition, which was 3/4-inch thick. The dinners of Howe Clubs of Detroit, Fort Wayne, Chicago, and Harvard University, were reported.
