Did Howe Help You?

Bill Hamilton ’68 and Henry Conant ’58 have been working to update our alum data. Bill asked his contacts, had their Howe experience helped them. Some answers:

“I believe it did.”
“Without a doubt! I was an immediate leader in basic training. On our first free weekend, I trained our entire flight how to march, doing “extend and close” and “accordion” routine amongst others. Totally flipped out our drill Sargent on Monday morning.”

“I thought it did!”

“Well………. My life is definitely better than it probably would’ve been.”

“Yes Sir.  Learning some discipline and how to get along with other people were lessons learned at Howe Military School.”

“Absolutely. Being away from home for eight months of the year at Howe, it was easier to transition in the Army being away from home.”

“I UNDOUBTEDLY gained an advantage serving my country after attending HMS!”

“I thought it helped”

“Absolutely”
